About this course
Designed for those who want to learn about their culture while developing employment and study skills, this course enables you to explore your Aboriginality, culture and community and develop your personal strengths and connections.
You will develop language, literacy and numeracy skills while learning how to access a range of education and/or employment options.
Our Certificate III Mumgu-dhal tyama-tiyt community, connection and pathways enables the development of leadership skills to participate more fully in community activities and develop vocational and study skills to pathway into further training, study or employment.
You will develop knowledge of the Indigenous arts industry with a focus on own culture while learning study and art skills, mentoring and how to work as part of a team on community projects.
Career Opportunities
Develop your skills further for job seeking, career planning and work skills pathways that include pre-employment training and further study.

On successful completion students may look to further study in other industry specific courses.

You will learn how to:
• Identify personal career and educational pathways
• Develop leadership skills as a member of an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community

It is recommended that students who undertake this qualification are of Indigenous heritage. Students who are not of Indigenous heritage are required to be connected to Community as some units for successful completion only apply to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander learners and require the support of Elders, Community members or family members.
