You’ll develop employment skills, knowledge and behaviours, making you more confident in the workplace while gaining skills in job seeking, personal management, teamwork, communication, literacy and numeracy and using common technology. With this qualification, you’ll be on your way to finding the right job for you!
Our expert teachers will guide you every step of the way, making sure you feel supported and confident to take the next steps. And when you finish this course, the outcomes are up to you. You can find work in a supported work environment or undertake volunteering to gain additional confidence and build on employability skills – how good!
You might even want to take your studies further by finding further work placements, employment part time or full time, do some volunteering or even keep studying.

Mandatory entry requirements:
Entry to the 22481VIC Certificate II in Work Education is restricted to post compulsory school age learners with evidence of a permanent cognitive impairment / intellectual disability.
Permanent cognitive impairment / intellectual disability must be evidenced. Evidence could include but is not limited to:
• Formal assessment by a registered medical practitioner
• Doctors / specialist reports
• Attendance at a Specialist School / SDS
• Integration support at school
• Integration support at school with modified curriculum
While learners may also have the following conditions, these alone do not constitute a permanent cognitive impairment / intellectual disability:
• Social and / or emotional issues
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
• Specific learning difficulties
• Mental health conditions
• Physical disabilities
Recommended entry Requirements:
Completion of 22302VIC Certificate I in Work Education
Have the ability to communicate effectively to attend a work placement
