This four-year, hands-on course is designed so you work and study at the same time, gaining real-world experience and mentoring to give yourself the best chance of future employment.
As an apprentice, you’ll enter this course via your employment and undertake four years of training, working with an employer to gain this qualification where you’ll learn to work with a huge range of tools, equipment and materials, creating the formwork for the world around us.

This course will prepare you for a lifelong career in one of the most sought-after trades in Australia, giving you the exciting opportunity of becoming a registered tradesperson. You’ll learn to work confidently on your own as you master your ability to construct, install, repair and finish residential, commercial and industrial spaces.
What’s even better is that once you finish this course, you’ll be qualified to work in the industry right away. If you do want to take your study further though, you’ll be eligible to study a Certificate IV in Building and Construction. This course will add to your existing skillset, giving you more expertise and increasing your employment opportunities.
