Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (Traineeship)

Are you already working in the Allied Health industry but want to get some formal qualifications? This Traineeship is the perfect platform to make that happen.

You’ll be able to hone the skills you already have, while learning new ones in order to provide assistance to allied health professionals under predetermined guidelines.

Taught in a combination of online and on-campus workshops, you’ll only need to attend workshops one day per week, meaning you can continue working and earning without having to take too much time off. It also means you’ll be able to put your new skills to use right away, gaining hands-on experience in an industry you’re already so passionate about.

When you finish this course, there are so many work opportunities open to you – it all just depends on the setting you want to work in!

You may find yourself working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, a Physiotherapy Assistant, or an Allied Health Assistant following treatment plans for therapeutic interventions and/or conducting programs under the regular direct, indirect or remote supervision of an allied health professional.

But what if you want to take your career even further? Well, that’s an option too if you choose to study a Certificate IV in Allied Heath Assistance, a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a Diploma of Nursing. All of these courses will extend your skillset, allowing you to increase your employment opportunities and chase your career goals at the same time.

There has never been a better time to gain new qualifications, and what better way to do it than with a Traineeship in an industry you already love. Come and study with us and become the industry professional you’re meant to be.

Please note, students will require a Working with Children’s Check, a Police Check, and an LLN and PTR assessment at a Certificate III level to complete this course.

ATTENTION: As much as we’d love to offer more, we can only offer one Free TAFE course per person. If you’ve already enrolled and commenced, or enrolled but didn’t complete a Free TAFE course at any Victorian TAFE in the past you will NOT be eligible for another and will need to pay tuition and materials fees when you enrol. Reach out to us if you think this is you.
