This qualification is designed for job roles in the harvesting and haulage sector of the forest and forest products industry as a traineeship
The Traineeship includes industry tickets in trim and cut harvested trees and machines including processor, skidder and excavator. There are 2 optional units with one to be chosen between operate a feller buncher or conduct mechanically assisted tree falling operations

Qualifications and RecognitionUpon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate III in Harvesting and Haulage (Traineeship).
Bulldozer operator, excavator operator, feller buncher, forest harvester, forwarder operator, harvesting technician, in-field chipper operation, loader operator, log truck driver, mobile equipment operator, skidder operator. All subject to jurisdiction legislation and licensing/certification

- There are no entry requirements for this qualification
All students required to attend on-site learning must be fully vaccinated in line with TAFE Gippsland’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Exceptions apply for valid medical reasons and students studying secondary school subjects.
