Production horticulture skills uplift provides Gippsland locals with the necessary skills and competencies to gain entry-level employment that are relevant to the Gippsland region.
This skills uplift combines 11 units of competency identified by industry. All units are compulsory but if participants do not hold a manual licence and have held that for over one year then the medium rigid licence may be an elective. All units are delivered by TAFE Gippsland except for the unit TLILIC2015 Medium rigid vehicle licence that is delivered by a training organisation in Dandenong. This training may incur an additional cost.

- Forklift minimum age of 18 and need to supply 100 point id, that includes a photograph and signature- i.e. licence, passport etc. at enrolment time
