Course Overview
If you’re not exactly sure what you want to do in the future, then the intermediate Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) can help give you the skills and knowledge to make the right decision about your future employment or education.
This qualification will help you focus on using your interests and strengths in a range of possible pathways as well as giving you the opportunity to test out different pathways as you improve your chances for employment.
The key focus of this course is to prepare you for further studies at the next VCAL level, in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), or get you job ready so you can start earning straight away.
But the best bit about this course is when you enrol, you’ll be matched with a level that suits your current abilities before moving on to bigger and better things, so you’ll feel comfortable and supported every step of the way.
Taught over an 11-month period, you’ll attend classes, workshops and participate in online learning, being taught by our expert teachers in the field you want to enter.
Once you finish the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (Intermediate), there are many pathways you can take. Some of these pathways are studying a Senior level VCAL, completing VCE, studying an apprenticeship or traineeship (school-based or full-time), studying a Certificate II (or above) VET course or going straight into employment.
All these courses will help you enhance your employment opportunities while you discover your passion and work in the sector gaining real-world experience and earning money.
