Course Overview

Turn your passion for massage into a dynamic and exciting career with a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice. In this course, you’ll learn the safest and most effective methods of full body massage, whether that’s for relaxation, sports, massage for special needs, rehabilitation or stretching.

You’ll learn specific treatments for muscular pain that you can take into your own practice or in a supervised massage clinic. Our industry professionals will take you one step further as you learn what it takes to manage your own massage practice.

Times

Semester 1 intake:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm

Semester 2 intake (midyear)
Wednesdays between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm from July to Dec 2019
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm from Jan 2020

Qualifications and Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice.

Career Opportunities

After completing this course, student will be able to either work for themselves or in a health team environment. Have the ability to have health rebate for health providers and work in conjunction with other health care professionals.
