Course Overview
A Diploma of Remedial Massage will give you the specialist skills and knowledge to turn your passion into a thriving career. As a remedial massage therapist, you’ll work with clients who suffer from soft tissue dysfunction, musculoskeletal imbalance, or restrictions in their range of motion. Learn what it takes to become a self-employed massage therapist or focus your skills within a larger healthcare provider where you will assess and treat a wide range of patients. Times
Classes are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm face to face in Semester 1
Classes are on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm face to face in Semester 2
Thursdays student massage clinic will run from 1:00pm to 8:30pm
Qualifications and Recognition
Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Diploma of Remedial Massage.Career Opportunities
After completing this diploma, the student will be able to work independently, either for themselves or in a health team environment. They will have the ability to have health rebate for private health providers, work in conjunction with other health care professionals and work within the WorkCover sector and TAC clients.

Students may look at further options at a University level, Myotherapy, Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Osteotherapy.

- This is due to the practical component of the course and massage practise on other students and members of the public.

VET Student Loans
VET Student Loans are available to assist eligible students studying higher level vocational education and training (VET) qualifications to pay their tuition fees. Higher level VET qualifications are at those at a Diploma level and above. VET Student loans are capped at a maximum for each approved course of study and the amount of the loan cannot be greater than your remaining FEE-HELP balance. If eligible for a student loan, you can access up to $15,793 to help cover the tuition fees for this course.
