This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles undertaking work in confined spaces. Participants have the opportunity to learn about the application of work instructions, safety requirements, tagging and lock-out procedures, complying with entry permits and confined space inspection.
Course content includes:
- Plan and prepare for working in confined space
- Work in confined space
- Exit confined space and clean up
Participants to wear suitable clothing and fully-enclosed footwear in order to participate in confined spaces training activities.
Enrolment into this course must be finalised 5 working days before the course commences
Qualifications and RecognitionUpon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.

Recommended entry requirements
It is recommended that participants have previously completed Construction Induction Card training. Successful completion of training and assessment is more likely where participants have literacy and numeracy skills at appropriate level.
