Cash-in-Transit Specialisation

To work in cash-in-transit (CIT) security operations in Victoria, individuals must complete the CPP31318 Certificate III in Security Operations, which includes specialised elective units focusing on the secure transport of cash and valuables.

Specialised Cash-in-Transit Units

To obtain the CIT specialisation, candidates must complete the following elective units:

  • PPSEC3118: Inspect and test cash-in-transit security equipment
  • CPPSEC3119: Implement cash-in-transit security procedures
  • CPPSEC3120: Load and unload cash-in-transit in secured and unsecured environments
  • You must be an existing licensed security guard or crowd controller to undertake the cash-in-transit specialisation.
