Course Overview

Have you got a love for automotive technology? The Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology is a great option for automotive apprentices who want to learn how to diagnose, service and repair the electrical systems in a huge range of vehicles.

You’ll enjoy the theory and skills you need to repair charging systems, compression ignition engines, spark ignitions, and a whole lot more. You’ll also learn how to test, charge and replace batteries, jumpstart cars and install vital electrical components! Get more out of your apprenticeship as you prepare yourself for a thrilling career in the automotive industry.

Apprentices attend either Block release or Day release depening on Student and Location

Qualifications and Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (Apprenticeship).

Career Opportunities

Employment in automotive vehicle workshops and or dealerships as a qualified automotive electrical technician.

Opportunities for Further Study

Cert III, IV and Diplomas with-in the automotive industry.
