Course Overview

This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working in Civil construction, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

Trainees are generally scheduled to attend classes on a monthly basis, 8am to 4pm. For example, East-Gippsland based trainees may be scheduled to attend the Bairnsdale Campus monthly on a Monday, whilst Central Gippsland based trainees may attend the Yallourn Campus on a Tuesday. The trainer is generally available to trainees via phone/email on the non-scheduled days.
