Course Overview

If you feel like make-up is artistry for the face, you’re not alone – so do we! And we have the perfect course to unleash your creativity and finetune your skills; the Certificate III in Make-Up.

Led by our specialist make-up educator, Alarna Bell, this course takes you step-by-step through designing and applying everyday makeup looks, as well as specialised techniques including bridal, photography, creative makeup, airbrushing effects and camouflage makeup applications.

You’ll also learn basic hairstyling, waxing and eyelash extensions. We’ve also added social media/marketing skills to this course to create the complete package!

Taught over a 22-week period for three days a week at our Traralgon campus, this course will allow you to put your new skills into practice both in and out of the classroom, increasing your confidence and boosting your employment opportunities.

When you complete the course, you’ll be able to work as a qualified make-up artist. Choose to work within a hairdressing or beauty salon, or choose to work for yourself as a freelance makeup and hair artist for weddings, special occasions, editorial work and TV or film; the possibilities are endless!

You’ll be gaining hands-on, real world experience in the industry of your dreams, earning money and taking the time to think about your next career move – because we know those decisions aren’t always easy.

One of those career moves could be studying a Diploma of Beauty Therapy. This course is designed to give you even more skills in the beauty industry so you can take your career and employment opportunities even further.

So, if you’re ready to take the first step into your brand-new career as a make-up artist and work in exciting places around the world, we’re here to help you get to where you want to be.
