You’ll enjoy the theory and skills you need to repair charging systems, compression ignition engines, spark ignitions, and a whole lot more. You’ll also learn how to test, charge and replace batteries, jumpstart cars and install vital electrical components! Get more out of your apprenticeship as you prepare yourself for a thrilling career in the automotive industry.
Apprentices attend block release Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Class times 8.00am-4.30pm.
Class is one day per week, Tuesday or Thursday. Class times are from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Transport to training facility must be arranged by the student.
Qualifications and RecognitionUpon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (Apprenticeship).
Employment in automotive vehicle workshops and or dealerships as a qualified automotive electrical technician.
Opportunities for Further Study
Cert III, IV and Diplomas with-in the automotive industry.
Mandatory entry requirements
- Registered and employed as apprentice.
Recommended entry requirements
- Completion of year ten secondary studies, 16 years of age with a completion of a language literacy and numeracy assessment.

- Not registered and employed apprentice
