Course Overview

Do you have a passion for all things beauty? Do you love making people feel special and cared for? Then this course is for you.

In the Certificate III in Beauty Services, you’ll learn practical skills in areas such as manicures and pedicures (gel and acrylic nail enhancements), waxing services, lash and brow treatments, cosmetic tanning, makeup application along with key salon skills in effective communication, reception duties and product and service advice.

You will also learn a range of different beauty techniques and skills to be able to work in a beauty salon as a beautician or within a retail environment.

You’ll be guided every step of the way by our beauty experts, who will make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your studies – while also letting your creativity shine!

The opportunities for employment after this course really are endless. You can find yourself working as a Beautician or Beauty Therapist, at a Beauty Salon, a Day Spa, or even become self-employed. You’ll be able to put your skills into practice, gain hands-on experience while you think about your future study moves.

Those moves might mean studying a Certificate III in Makeup, or a Diploma of Beauty Therapy. Both these courses are designed to add to your skillset and increase your future opportunities.

So, what are you waiting for? It's time to dream big, follow your passion and see where your future can go.

ATTENTION: As much as we’d love to offer more, we can only offer one Free TAFE course per person. If you’ve already enrolled and commenced, or enrolled but didn’t complete a Free TAFE course at any Victorian TAFE in the past you will NOT be eligible for another and will need to pay tuition and materials fees when you enrol. Reach out to us if you think this is you.
