Looking for a way to get registered as an electrical contractor? If you’re the holder of an unrestricted class-A electrical mechanics license, this course will help you take the next step in your career. In this program, you’ll learn how to evaluate the labour costs and profit margins associated with your daily duties. You must be a registered electrical contractor if you wish to carry out electrical work for the public.
To apply for contractor registration with Energy Safe Victoria, you must hold an electrician’s license, or nominate a supervisor who holds an electrician’s license and has successfully completed the Licensed Electrical Assessment (LEA). If you’re responsible for the administration side of running an electrical business, you must complete an approved course of training.
