This nationally recognised skillset can also be used for if you’re wanting to access Certificate IV in Disability (having completed Certificate III in Aged care) or a Certificate III Individual Support - Disability having already completed Certificate III in Aged Care.
This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, work in various care and support roles and who wish to develop skills in providing person-centred support to people with disability.

Career Opportunities

Disability stream - A range of disability roles such as disability support worker, personal care worker, lifestyle support worker or personal care assistant, support coordinator, case manager, in-home disability support worker and community support worker.

Mandatory entry requirements:

COVID vaccination - triple dose (From 17 September 2021, COVID-19 vaccination will be mandatory for all residential aged care workers. Exemptions will not apply)
# NDIS worker screening check
Must be able to attend class as per the timetable.
Minimum ACSF level 3 in all levels
