Not only that, during the four years it takes to complete this course, you’ll also be guided by our expert teachers when you complete the on-campus part of this qualification, meaning you’ll have a variety of people helping you achieve success.
When you finish this course, you’ll become a qualified plumber and be eligible to sit the Victorian Building Authority Plumbing Registration exam, after which you’ll become a registered plumber.
You will then be able to work in the industry, gaining hands-on experience while you decide if you want to take your career further. Going further might mean studying a Certificate IV in Plumbing Services. This course will add to your skills and increase your employment opportunities.

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate III in Plumbing (Apprenticeship).Career Opportunities
Certificate III in Plumbing will provide you with a qualification as a plumber, students are eligible to sit the Victorian Building Authority Plumbing Registration exam, upon successful completion of this exam it will allow the student to become registered as a Plumber on the completion of their apprenticeship. Given this is a apprenticeship qualification, students will already be employed in industry. They will also then be eligible to work as a registered plumber in the streams successfully completed.

Mandatory entry requirements
- Students must be an indentured apprentice to undertake and complete this qualification.
Recommended entry requirements
- To be enrolled into Certificate III in Plumbing each student must have a current employer a the time of enrolment due to this course being for apprentices only. Each apprentice will also be signed by an Apprenticeship Centre of choosing by the employer and have a training contract that states the relationship between the employer, apprentice and RTO. Once the training contract has been released a Apprentice Sign up and Induction is completed within 5 working days and the apprentice commences class once enrolment has been confirmed.
