Hair and Beauty Skills Set - VDSS

Dreaming of a career in the hair and beauty industry but can’t decide which course is right for you? Or maybe you have a passion for hairstyling and makeup and would love to see what a career within the industry would be like. Well, this practical hair and beauty skill set has been designed for you!

We have chosen 12 units from our hairdressing and beauty training package to offer as a two-year skill set VDSS program. Once you have successfully completed this skill set, you will have a greater understanding of both industries and be able to pathway into one of our hair and beauty qualifications with multiple unit credits.

Key skills required for success

This course is suited to students with an interest in hair and beauty who are comfortable working
with clients and performing services. Students need basic reading and comprehension skills, along
with everyday maths skills for payments and cash handling. Students are expected to maintain
regular attendance, participate in learning activities, and complete all theory assessments. There are no formal tests or exams in this course.
