Course Overview
This qualification serves as an excellent starting point for individuals aspiring to enter the healthcare field. Students will gain an understanding of the critical significance of collaborating with individuals from varied backgrounds within the health or community sectors.
Emphasis will be placed on effective communication techniques necessary for interacting in these professional settings. Additionally, students will learn essential practices such as adhering to infection prevention protocols, managing behaviours of concern, and transporting individuals. This course consists of theoretical and hands-on learning tasks.
Practical sessions will be conducted on campus, in a simulated laboratory to enhance student learning. This qualification does not require any placement component. This course will give students credit into the Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate III in Aged Care and Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
