Course Overview

Become the manager you’re meant to be and take your construction business to the next level by studying a Certificate IV in Building and Construction. If you own a small to medium building business, you’ll learn the necessary skills to plan projects, apply structural rules and offer on-site supervision.

This course has been designed to teach you how to meet legal standards and requirements in your industry, taking you a notch above the competition. Once you’ve completed this qualification, you’ll be able to apply for a ‘Builder – Low Rise’ license. Your residential building business will thrive with you as the leader.

Times

Two nights per week, Monday and Wednesday from 6-9pm and on Sundays a tutorial Assessment support session is available to all students from 6-9pm.

Qualifications and Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate IV In Building And Construction (Building).

Career Opportunities

Certificate IV in Building and Construction will provide the opportunity to work within the Industry as Manager or Supervisor.

Recommended entry requirements

  • Students may be required to have completed a qualification in CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry and also are required to be working actively and employed within the Industry. The course is open to Apprentices that are currently employed within the Industry.

Limitations to entry

  • Students are required to be passionate about the Industry and possess the skills and knowledge of building and carpentry.
