Course Overview

ATTENTION: As much as we’d love to offer more, we can only offer one Free TAFE course per person. If you’ve already enrolled and commenced, or enrolled but didn’t complete a Free TAFE course at any Victorian TAFE in the past you will NOT be eligible for another and will need to pay tuition and materials fees when you enrol. Become the manager you’re meant to be and take your construction business to the next level by studying a Certificate IV in Building and Construction. If you own a small to medium building business, you’ll learn the necessary skills to plan projects, apply structural rules and offer on-site supervision.

This course has been designed to teach you how to meet legal standards and requirements in your industry, taking you a notch above the competition. Once you’ve completed this qualification, you’ll be able to apply for a ‘Builder – Low Rise’ license. Your residential building business will thrive with you as the leader.


Two nights per week, Monday and Wednesday from 6-9pm and on Sundays a tutorial Assessment support session is available to all students from 6-9pm.
Delivery will also consist of online webinars, skype and video conferencing with the use of resources from Master Builders Association.

Qualifications and Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate IV In Building And Construction (Building).

Career Opportunities

Certificate IV in Building and Construction will provide the opportunity to work within the Industry as Manager or Supervisor.
