About This Course
It’s time to take charge of your future. The Certificate II in General Education for Adults is our most advanced General Education course, and it is designed for adults who are ready to take their reading, writing and maths skills to a higher level and turn them into real opportunities.
Whether your goal is to find work, move into further study, gain a vocational qualification or simply become more confident and independent in everyday life — this course will help you get there.
You will be supported by experienced teachers in a friendly, face-to-face classroom environment at our Morwell or Sale FLC campuses. Learning alongside your classmates, you will benefit from group discussions, shared projects and direct support from your teacher every step of the way.

Mandatory entry requirements:

Before enrolling in this course, all students must complete a reading and numeracy assessment. To be accepted into the course, you will need to demonstrate a minimum of Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 2 in both reading and numeracy.
This online assessment is not a test you can fail. It simply helps us make sure this is the right course for you and that you will be able to get the most out of it. If you are not yet at Level 2, we will talk with you about other courses in our General Education pathway that may be a better starting point.

Recommended entry Requirements:

• Be aged 20 years or above
• Have completed the 22690VIC Certificate I in General Education for Adults, or have equivalent skills
• Have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable device
• Be self-motivated and able to manage your own study time
• Have the time and commitment to log in regularly and engage actively with your online studies
