Course Overview

When it comes to aged care and disability, every patient has their own set of challenges and strengths. Administering high levels of care means taking the time to individually plan and follow through with each patient. A Certificate III in Individual Support will take out into the community and residential settings, helping people who need your support.

  • Clear Police checks
  • Clear Working with Children's check
  • Minimum age - 18

Recommended entry requirements

  • Moderate computer skills
  • Immunisations: flu shot maybe required prior to placement during flu season

Limitations to entry

  • Must be physically fit as the job role requires manual handling using industry equipment and 7.6 hour shifts on placement where role involves physical work and long periods of standing.
