Course Overview

If you love animals and would like to learn more about providing emergency animal first aid, then this short course is for you!

During this short course you practice animal first aid techniques that will allow you to respond to an animal medical emergency until veterinary assistance is available.

Kick start you career in the animal care industry, or just simply learn how to care for your companion animals.

You'll also learn how to measure animal vital signs, provide basic life support including CPR, bandaging techniques as well as safety considerations for you and your pet. This course is focussed on companion animals, but techniques learnt can be utilised on a variety of species.
