Course Overview
Designed to develop and enhance the skillset of existing supervisors/managers, newly appointed managers or emerging leaders, this series will focus on building capacity and resilience, to develop and grow leaders of our own in the region. Cross collaboration of industries will provide a dynamic and interesting capacity to develop strong cross industry working relationships and peer to peer learning opportunities. No matter the industry the methodology remains the same.
Topic include:
- Leading and Managing in a new era
- Managing your own workload and being in charge of others
- Developing your Team – Communicating and Influencing team members
- Doing the Difficult stuff
- Managing stress – your own and others
- Navigating change and uncertainty
- Strategic Thinking and Decision Making
The 2025 Management and Leadership Series will be delivered as a program of seven workshops, spread across the year, enabling attendance at the full series or at selected individual sessions.
The program focuses on three aspects of leadership – ME, MY TEAM and MY BUSINESS . Skills will be a focus within each of these themes including building on Knowing Yourself, Building Knowledge & Skills in your team and Building Capability within the Business to cater across a industries and a range of experience.
The learning journey will give each participant the skills and tools to contribute to their personal growth, to their role as a team member and ultimately as a successful leader within their Leadership role.
You can choose to attend the full series of 7 sessions, or you may select individual sessions, based on your areas of interest or availability.
