Course Overview
Course Dates
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to develop and implement compliance policies and plans for the operation of an electrical contracting business. Learners will build an understanding of electrical safety, WHS, and legislative requirements, including those administered by Electrical Safety Victoria, and apply these to establish compliant systems and processes within an electrical contracting environment.
This is self-paced delivery.
A Credit transfer can be applied for UEECD0007 for anyone who has done prior training who meets requirements.
Accepted units for UEECD0007 are as follows:
- UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace.
- UEENEEE101A Apply Occupational Health and Safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace.
- UEENEEE001B Apply OHS practices in the workplace.
This must be completed before you will gain access to course content by either suppling evidence by either a Statement of results or a copy of your USI Transcript.
If you are not applying for credit, you will be required to completed UEECD0007 before the completion of UEEEL0040.

To be eligible for entry into this course, participants should meet the following requirements:
- Hold a current electrical licence or be a qualified electrician, or
- Be working in a supervisory, management, or compliance role within an electrical contracting business
