If you’re interested in working in bars, restaurants, bistros, and nightclubs, you’ll need your Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification. This course covers the legalities and responsibilities of workers who serve alcohol on licensed premises. One of the hardest parts of serving alcohol is learning the right way to refuse patrons when necessary, and this course will give you the tips and tricks to diffuse conflict. It also covers the science behind alcohol and its effect on the human body.
This course fulfills your legal training requirements when you serve alcohol or work in a licensed premise. This qualification is nationally recognised and will enable you to be able work in other states of Australia.
In this course, you will learn the golden rules for bar staff. You’ll learn the problems associated with excessive consumption and the laws that surround this topic. Both the licensed establishment and you as a worker are responsible for ensuring patrons are safely consuming alcohol, and the fines can be massive if you are found to be negligent. Protect yourself and your workplace by understanding exactly what is expected of you.
