Try it, Like it, TAFE it! 2026

A hands-on experiential program designed for students who are considering their VET options for 2027.

And here we go… Registrations are open for our Try it, Like it, TAFE it program.

Try it, Like it, TAFE it is fun, interactive and gives the middle child (Year 9s/10s) an opportunity to get those future career thoughts happening. Students have an opportunity to try two different VET options on each date to really help them make the right choice.

Taster sessions will run on the following dates:

• Traralgon – 26/05/2026
• Morwell – 26/05/2026
• Yallourn – 26/05/2026
• Warragul – 26/05/2026
• Baw Baw Skills Centre (Warragul) – 26/05/2026
• Bairnsdale Main Campus – 26/05/2026
• Bairnsdale Trade Centre – 26/05/2026
• Morwell – 28/05/2026
• Yallourn – 28/05/2026
• Leongatha – 28/05/2026
• Port of Sale – 29/05/2026
• Sale Gtec – 29/05/2026

Session 1 - 10.00am -11.30am | Session 2 - 12.30pm – 2.00pm

Sessions will include a brief introduction to the course content and the suggested pathways, then a short, hands-on activity.
