Course overview
In just five days, you’ll develop the skills required to sit a Weld Australia Exam as a Certified Welder, working towards Welding Ticket 1–9 (depending on stream selection).
You’ll work with industry-standard equipment and processes, including:
- MIG welding
- TIG welding
- ARC welding

Duration: 5 days Times: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Are you eligible?
To enrol, you must be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 300 hours welding experience in a related industry, or
- A Certificate III qualification as a fabricator

Meet your trainer
Zac Wallace brings more than a decade of hands-on trade experience into the workshop.
A former TAFE Gippsland apprentice himself, Zac has worked across maritime fabrication, light and heavy manufacturing, maintenance fitting, primary production, and pressure vessel welding and fabrication.
