Our TAFE Jumpstart program is back for 2026 and this time, we’re doing things a little differently to help our new students succeed in their studies.
To better support students who can’t attend our on-campus intensive workshops, we’re excited to introduce brand-new online and face-to-face Pick & Mix workshops. These flexible, free sessions are designed to help all students start the year confidently, no matter where they’re studying from.
What’s new in 2026?
Jumpstart’s goal hasn’t changed: we’re here to equip students with the essential skills they need to be study-ready.
But in 2026, students can now choose how they want to engage:
New: Pick & Mix workshops (online + face-to-face)
- A flexible series of 90-minute sessions
- Students can attend from anywhere, or join us on campus
- Designed to build:
- Study-readiness skills
- Digital literacy
- Confidence and connection within the TAFE Gippsland community
Students can mix and match the workshops that suit their needs — just like picking their own learning playlist.
