So, it’s been exactly one month since you received your ATAR. First things first – don’t panic!

Benefits of studying at TAFE
Remember, you don’t need an ATAR to study at TAFE.
Yep, you read that correctly – a big benefit of studying at TAFE means you don’t need an ATAR score.
What else?
A 2017 report by the Skilling Australian Foundation found that the median full-time income for a VET graduate is $56,000, compared to $54,000 for a university graduate. Go on to study at Uni if that’s your plan, but just so you know, you won’t be falling short financially if you decide on choosing TAFE.

Use TAFE a steppingstone to Uni

So, if it's your goal is to get into university, studying at TAFE means that you can use your course as a pathway into certain degrees.
